Super Edgar!

This awesome post is dedicated to awesome Edgar (@egspoony). The design was done by Katie Durham and deserves to be posted here in honor of Super Edgar.

Over the past couple of days, some of you may have noticed the nice (snort) blue unvisited link color/purple visited link color that our page was sportin'.

After frying my brain and straining my eyes going over line after line of code, Super Edgar swooped in and saved the day!!

See..Microsoft likes to hijack things by adding "extra" code, and by using Word--it invisibly inserted a bunch of crap on the main page, thus destroying our original format and turning everything to default. There's a really good blog post about this issue here.

So--let's ALL give Super Edgar a HUGE thanks for fixing it. Send him a tweet @egspoony !!

  1. I work on a digital project and have to train people not to upload anything into the CMS from Word. I try to tell them that textedit is their best friend -- Microsoft code is evil!!

  2. Yeah...sneaky, sneaky. If you use Blogger's HTML editor, the Word code isn't shown. The only way you can see it is if you view the source code through your web browser.

    MICROSOFT! *shakes fist*
